What is a Shimmer-Wing?

You've heard this term a few times on the blog, and you'll be hearing it a while more. So it's time to answer the question. Just what is a Shimmer-Wing?

A Shimmer-Wing is an Ice Dragon who has purple, blue, pink, or rarely green feathers. According to Ice Dragon legends, a Shimmer-Wing was only born when the Ice Dragons were in great danger.

Some of the most famous Shimmer-Wings in Ice Dragon history are:

•  Emerald, who was a general in the Battle Era. 
•  Icicle, who fought against Tempest in the Battle of Magic's Touch. 
• Berry, the great grand-dragonet of Wynter, and the first Ice Dragon to have the Silencing preformed on her.
