The daughter of Snowflake, Icicle is but 8 years old when the charge against Magic's Touch takes place. However, instead of being seen as mature at ten years old, during that time dragonets were viewed as mature when they were old enough to survive a battle. The age fluctuated depending on the dragon's mindscape, and species, but most were about six or seven. Icicle was seen as mature enough at the age of five, though her circumstances were unusual, as the battle she survived was a Griffon raid on her mother's village. This is how she got the scar on her muzzle, and how her mother got the notch in her horn.

Chosen by Drake to attack Tempest himself, Icicle was quite concerned. She was quite young, and worried that she would not be able to help much,having been born in the middle of the Peace Era.

Icicle's fears were soothed by her older brother Wynter. He told her that she'd been born with colored wings for a reason, one of the first since the Great Battle. She was destined to do something about the danger, to save the Ice Dragons.

However, as she fought against Tempest, shooting ice at his feet so he would be unable to escape as Drake, Bolt, and Snap attacked him with their own, highly dangerous breath weapons, Icicle was hit by a killing curse. Though she died before Tempest was killed, it was thanks to her help that Drake was able to strike the killing blast on the human mage.

Young Ice Dragons are told her story, along with the story of her brother who later founded Wynter's Grove, and look up to her. Though her body was sent out to sea as is Ice Dragon tradition, it is said her spirit still watches over her tribe, and protects them from danger.
